Learn Swift (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is an educational application that helps you learn the Swift programming language and SwiftUI. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Information We Collect
Depending on how you use Learn Swift, we may process the following data:

We do not collect payment card details (subscriptions are processed by Apple), precise location, contacts, or photos. We do not use cross-app advertising tracking.
How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account across devices
- Save, display, and sync your learning progress
- Provide subscriptions and restore purchases via Apple
- Send optional local daily study reminders (only if you enable notifications)
- Improve reliability and comply with applicable law
Where Data Is Stored
- On your device: SwiftData, Keychain, and local settings; limited summary data for the home-screen widget (if you add it), never sent to our servers
- iCloud (optional): sync for email-based accounts and learning progress when you are signed into iCloud, via Apple CloudKit
- Apple & Google: sign-in and in-app purchases under their respective policies
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
Subscriptions
Premium content is available through an auto-renewing monthly subscription billed by Apple. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple’s policies.
Your Rights & Choices
- Delete account: Settings → Account → Delete Account (removes local data and requests CloudKit deletion)
- Sign out at any time from Settings
- Notifications: enable or disable in the app or iOS Settings
- Data requests: contact us to ask about access or deletion
Children
Learn Swift is intended for general education. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.
Security & Retention
We use industry-standard measures such as salted password hashing and Keychain storage. Data is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, we remove associated app data to the extent reasonably possible; iCloud copies may persist briefly per Apple’s sync behavior.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time. The “Effective” date above will reflect the latest version. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
